BE A LOCAL BLESSING

At Wellspring we want to be a blessing locally and globally. Our goal is to have every person at Wellspring serve in some way – to embody God’s blessing in the world. Check out ways you can start serving locally now!

Twice a month Wellspring provides housing and a dinner for men who would otherwise be sleeping on the street through a local non-profit called I-HELP. You can be a blessing by cooking a meal for the men. Email Joe Blau for more information and to start serving this month!

Each week college students gather at Monterey Peninsula College to explore the life of Jesus in the Bible. Intervarsity has let us know that they need teachers to partner with them to teach the way of Jesus! They could use your help! Contact Daniel Lui for more information and to start serving!

The Bridge Restoration Ministry is a local Christian residential housing program helping people to be free from the bondage of sin. You can be a blessing by becoming a mentor for one of the residents in the Bridge program. If you love Jesus and have a passion to see lives changed, this opportunity is for you. Email Aaron to learn how to be a mentor.

Nancy’s Project is a local non-profit that helps those in need with material goods such as food and clothing. Wellspring has the honor of getting to partner with Nancy’s Project throughout the year with various clothing and food drives. Email Angie Pack for more information.

Faith First aims to create intentional connections between urban and suburban churches throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. We pair sister churches of different ethnic and/or socioeconomic makeups that commit to creating experiences where their congregations engage in fellowship, learn from one another and build an ongoing relationship. Faith First helps churches to identify a sister organization and promote all activities.

The House of Miracles project seeks to transform an underutilized, upstairs space in Wellspring’s Annex building into an imaginative environment based on C.S. Lewis’ timeless and Christ-inspired Chronicles of Narnia, where all kinds of people may be newly and further enchanted by Christ.
